His work focuses on helping food business owners understand their numbers, improve menu profitability, reduce operational confusion, create practical SOPs, build team accountability, and make better business decisions.

Utkarsh is also the author of Profit on Every Plate, a practical guide to menu engineering, food costing, pricing logic, and restaurant profitability. Through Upscale Lab, his focus is not only to advise food businesses, but to help them build systems that can be used in daily operations.
